Three penalties result in bizarre kickoff from opposition's 20-yard line
Well, you don’t see this very often.
During the Eastern Michigan-Charlotte game on Saturday night, Eastern Michigan had its kickoff moved forward not once, not twice, but three times due to dead ball penalties that were assessed to Charlotte on the kickoff.
The three 15 yard penalties brought Eastern Michigan forward 45 yards, to Charlotte’s 20 yard line, where it tried (unsuccessfully) to recover an onside kick.
