Mike Trout somehow avoided the catcher’s glove on a brilliant slide home
Mike Trout is the best player in baseball for a reason.
Though his fifth-inning run against the Blue Jays will merely show up as a “run” in the box score, Trout deserves way more credit than that because, LOOK AT THIS SLIDE.
And here’s an even better look:
Any other baseball player probably would have been out, but Trout somehow slipped his arm under the glove of Dioner Navarro. How does he even try that at full speed? I’ll never know.
The Angels won, 4-0.
