The newly promoted Deportivo Alaves will be over the moon after defeating Barcelona 2-1 at Camp Nou last weekend. There is plenty of positives for the club in their return back to Spanish La Liga this season. They are unbeaten after three matches into the season with two draws and a win. One of the draws were against Atletico Madrid on the opening matchday at the Vicente Calderon.

Deportivo La Coruna can’t complain how they have started the 2016/17 season. They began with a 2-1 win at home against Eibar and goal-less draw at Real Betis, before the 1-0 home defeat to Bilbao last weekend. The Branquiazuis were 15th in the league last season and Gaizka Garitano will be keen to see his team finishes in the top half of the table this season.
